Cell phone snaps on show at EL VACIO in London
A couple weeks back we bumped into New York based photographer and all round nice bloke Gogy at CONTROL’s First Birthday bash in Tokyo. After several drinks we discovered that he was in town for his EL VACIO exhibition opening party down in Meguro, turns out that this coming Thursday the exhibition which explores the boundless grey area between lust and living in a whole range of mediums moves to the Wayward Gallery in London. Most of the El Vacio exhibition has been shot with Gogy’s cell phone camera as that provided him with the most spontaneity to capture the moment. So if you’re in town we recommend you check it out. Gogy started out as assistant to Shadi Perez while studying at NYU since then he has taken photos for some of the coolest names on the East (and West) coast, from Rick Ross to Drake – Gogy has shot them all… Take a look at Gogy’s photos and book LIGHTTIME released last year on his site here.
