To celebrate their 4th anniversary at WOMB, TRES VIBES is pleased to welcome one of the shining lights of the underground Techno scene, Dan Ghenacia of Freak n’ Chic. Freak n’ Chic isn’t just an event, it’s a label. And it’s not just a label; it’s a product of Dan Ghenacia’s genius. Both as a DJ and producer, and as head of Freak n’ Chic label, Dan unfailingly stands for quality over quantity, substance over style, and, well, freakiness over mere chic. After soaking in California sun, basking in early West Coast house and psychadelia, Dan had his illumination. Since, he’s been spreading his love of good beats around the Paris techno scene. Deemed king of djs, he’s traveled around Europe, exploring new possibilities, crashing in new clubs and spreading his unique musical vision.
WOMBで4周年目を迎える事になったTRES VIBESはアンダーグラウンドのテクノシーンの中で光を放つFreak n’ ChicのDan Ghenaciaと共に迎える事ができるのをとても嬉しく思います。Freak n’ Chic（フリーク・アンド・シーク）はただのイベントだけではなくレーベルである。更にただのレーベルではない、Dan Ghenaciaという天才から生まれたものだ。DJやプロデューサー、そしてFreak n’ Chicの親玉として活躍しているダンのモットーは量より質、流行ではなく要旨、そしてまあ美人なんかより奇人だという。カリフォルニアの日光と共に初期のウェストコースト（アメリカ西海岸）サイケデリアとハウスミュージックを浴びた時、彼は目覚めた。そしてそれを吸収した彼は今パリのテクノ界でも彼のサウンドと情熱をふりまいている。DJの王様と言われているDan、常に新しい可能性を探しヨーロッパ中の行った事のないクラブにぶち込んで行き、自分の音楽のイデオロギーを展開している。
