CONTROL’s Headline DJ and All Round Good Guy, Duck Rock.
Post CONTROL party and we are still in awe of how good it was (check out the photos here), folks came from miles around to see our line up, which included Duck Rock. In case you didn’t get the chance to see his awesome Madchester / Acidhouse set, then hopefully you will be able to see him at our next CONTROL event (coming soon).
We asked Duck to answer a few questions for our beloved readers.
1- What is going to be big this year?
I think there won’t be much change to the music scene in 2010… I don’t know much about fasion.
2- Who is your favorite musician of all time?
Japan, Andy Gibb, BCR, Pale Fountains, Wings, Edward Ball, Sonic Boom and too many…
3- Where is your favorite place in Tokyo?
Nishi-Ogikubo ‘Yakitori Ebisu’ ‘Yakitori Ebisu’ is cheap and a much better tasting Japanese food and Sake joint.
4- What are you favorite fashion brands/styles?
I don’t have brand clothes. My style is a leather jacket + tartan check shirt + jeans + converse.
5- What is the last thing you bought?
Paul McCartney style jacquard knit vest (red)
6- What is the last song you listened to?
Tones On Tail ‘Twist’
7- Who is the coolest guy AND the coolest girl on the tokyo party scene at the moment?
Coolest guy is my old friend Hayao Matsumura (Trump Room, Trump House, Nude Trump) and BAZZ (Music Otaku).
8- Please recommend something new to our readers.
