Tricky Is Back With His Ninth Studio Album
This morning we received a treat in the post, a nice bundle of promo CD’s from our good friends at Hostess. Although we haven’t yet had a chance to work our way through all of our shiny new songs, we have managed to single out this fantastic new album from English born Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws or ‘Tricky’ as he is also known. Recorded in Paris, Mixed Race has been described as ‘his most passionate album to date’, after a good listen over lunch we are liking the slightly upbeat fusion of Jamaican rhythm and electronic beat. Lookout for the catchy sound of ‘Murder Weapon’. ‘Mixed Race’ is out on September 27th.
